Professional Engineers at Integrated Planning Integrated Planning and Consulting Services Inc. (IPC) was founded by Ted Appleton after retirement from the Canadian Federal Government as a professional engineer in British Columbia. Integrated Planning offers over 30 years of marine engineering experience in all aspects of marina development and maintenance. After managing over 250 harbours, Integrated Planning has the knowledge and experience to develop long lasting marine structures that require less maintenance and result in more cost savings during the life of a marina. Integrated Planning works on a variety of projects throughout the world. As an example, Mr. Appleton recently was a professional engineer advisor in New York for the marine engineering component of the reconstruction of the JFK highway. In addition, engineering design and consultation has been performed in the caribbean for designing coastal marinas with hurricane resistance strategies and specialized wave protection. Integrated Planning also works locally in British Columbia with marina owners to develop new float layouts, new gangways, wave protection, water lot expansions, etc. Float expansions in French Creek on Vancouver Island and Poets Cove in the Gulf Islands are a few examples.
